I have been selling diamond sharpeners for over 3 years now and have just expanded my range due to demand.
These amazing sharpeners are ideal for sharpening chains whilst still on the bar. I have a rotary one 3 years old and still working although it looks like an hourglass!
Rotary files will fit Oregon, Dremel, air die grinders and similar, even a fast electric/cordless drill. The file will fit normal guides if you use one.
Special micron grade diamonds will out-last stones and steel files. Also MUCH better on the new hardened chain teeth.
Manufactured with quality diamonds, precision bonded for strength and wear resistance.
Rotary Files come in different sizes and grit.
Rotary files available singly in 4.8mm, 5.2 and 5.5mm diameter to suit your chain. These are 50mm long with a 25mm cutting head. The shank is 3mm in diameter.
The 3 piece set is available in 4.0mm 4.8mm, & 5.5mm diameter. These rotary sharpeners are 45mm long with a 20mm cutting head. The shank is 3mm in diameter to fit the smaller collet or any chuck. The files are 22mm long with an 80mm cutting length.
In a set you will get two rotary files (one rough & one smooth) & one diamond chainsaw file.
I have used files and a grinding machine for my chains but until you try one of these you won’t know what sharp is!
Also important – a grinder removes a lot of metal reducing the life of the chain. . Steel files clog up and corrode easily.
These sharpeners are truly amazing. It’s easy to hold them steady and at the right angle – they also don’t remove as much tooth as a grinder.
The rotary sharpeners are truly amazing. It’s easy to hold them steady and at the right angle – they also don’t remove as much tooth as a grinder. Well except for the rough rotary one which is aggressive enough to reshape teeth.
Faster & more accurate than a file, less metal removed than a grinder & sharper than either.
I need to know the size of your file or size of your chain. It is stamped on the bar.
Can be used with a cordless/electric drill if they have a fast speed.
