Really nice “Frontier” hunter/skinner knife.
This and its larger brother are the most popular knife I sell – with good reason. It is a truly great all round knife.

Blade: 3.5″ (9cm) long by 1″ (2.5cm) wide by 2.8mm thick blade with hollow grind grind for superior edge retention and ease of sharpening. 440 high carbon stainless steel incredible cutting edge.
Overall length: 8″ (22cm)
Weight: 5ozs (142 grams)
Tang: full tang gives excellent strength and balance.
Sheath: Tan finish Scandinavian Puukko style leather sheath with belt loop and retaining strap.
Handle: Beautifully hardwood grips with brass rivets and a stainless steel finger guard. Fits the hand very well in all usual positions. Comfortable and secure. Complete with lanyard loop hole.
What makes these knives superb is the steel used. Many knives are made with inferior grades of stainless steel. “Stainless” is a large group of steel alloys – many entirely unsuitable for blade use.
Grade 440 is capable of attaining the best hardness, sharpness and wear resistance of all the stainless alloys. Its very high carbon content is responsible for these characteristics along with superior heat treatment. Of course this is also more expensive – you get what you pay for.
A classic design, beautifully made and finished. This blade is tough, versatile and very collectible.
